"Do better if possible, and that is always possible".

- Francois Constantin

In collaboration with Saporiti AeD
Project - Eric Maria Architecture

With over 260 years of uninterrupted excellence, Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watch manufacturer in the world. The House's creations are the embodiment of the rigorous quality requirements of Haute Horlogerie. Overlooking the Rhône river, the Geneva-based flagship store, with its simple, uncluttered lines, is the epitome of understated elegance.

The parapets of the staircase and the balcony are in extra-clear glass. The balustrades feature two parallel inset brass profiles which run their entire length.
The display cases and windows have sliding glass “curtains” featuring a “gravée” engraved pattern. Some panels feature a graduated satin finish, others are totally transparent.

For the headquarters and production facility, also based in Geneva, we built the large hourglass. This is an all-glass cuboid that extends the height of two floors. Water marks the time with its level, and then flows gently down sheets of hammered glass.
